After breakfast at the glamping camp, we will head out for a 2h30 drive to the village of Tekes and Tekes Waterfall that are situated near the Chinese border. The Tekes Waterfall has been eroding the surrounding rock formations by forming a deep pool. Although it’s small in size, it is still a beautiful sight to witness. On the way to the waterfall, we will see a magnificent panorama of overwhelming cliffs, rushing rivers, coniferous forests, and alpine meadows. Sometimes you will see the yurts and sheep herders along the route since there are many jaylaus (summer pastures) in the area. When we pass the village and arrive at the location, the waterfall can be seen from a height, and we will carefully descend to it. Below, we will enjoy the chilled ambience, the shade, and the icy-cold mountain water, which will be the perfect opportunity to set up Yurt camp and rest. After lunch, we will further explore the area for its diverse flora and fauna, and scenic observation decks. Dinner will be served at the camp, while enjoying the pristine nature of Tekes.
